COMPOTOOL CTS101 Stage 1 Sealer
The COMPOTOOL CTS101 Sealer is a two component solvent based product. It fills the large surface pores, sealing the Compotool board. The COMPOTOOL CTS101 Stage 1 Sealer is intended to be used COMPOTOOL CTS202 Stage 2 Sealer.

Process:

Apply COMPOTOOL CTD003 Densifier according to the data sheet.

Thoroughly shake each component of the COMPOTOOL CTS101 Sealer before opening. Combine the two components 1 to 1 by weight and mix thoroughly.

After mixing Part A and Part B together thoroughly, the COMPOTOOL CTS101 Sealer is ready to be applied.

Wipe 2 to 3 medium to dry coats of COMPOTOOL CTS101 Sealer over the surface with a lint free cloth leaving 15mins at room temperature (20°C/68°F) between coats. Elevated temperatures will reduce time. Do not exceed 150°C/300°F at this stage.

After applying the last coat allow the sealer to dry for 3 hours at room temperature (20°C/68°F). Elevated temperatures will reduce time. Do not exceed 150°C/300°F at this stage.

After the COMPOTOOL CTS101 Sealer has thoroughly dried, start applying the COMPOTOOL CTS202 Sealer. See COMPOTOOL CTS202 data sheet for details.

Application of COMPOTOOL products should be performed in a well-ventilated area. The COMPOTOOL board must be clean and dry before use.

COMPOTOOL CTS101 Sealer is sensitive to variations in application technique and thickness. It is important that the user carries out their own test and trials to determine how many coats are required for desired surface finish and application technique. Mould configuration, room temperature and humidity will influence the cure time from that detailed above.

COMPOTOOL CTS101 Sealer must be used in conjunction with CTS202 Sealer and CTS404 Release to seal the micro-pores and give a good release.
